The Painted Daisy
I make custom children's clothing, pillows, handbags, purses and totes. I love fabric, especially vintage fabric. My first inspiration was my great grandmother's kitchen curtains, handmade on flour sacks with appliqued daisies. Hoping to preserve them, I remade the panels, mixing in new textiles, to fit my kitchen windows. The satisfaction of seeing those daisies everyday sparked my creativity and launched a sewing adventure. Many items are one of a kind and all are made with an eye for recycling, reusing and repurposing fabric into something useful and beautiful.
