I'm inspired by the materials that people give away or are ready to throw away. These materials often have so much potential to be new beautiful and functional wares. I make rugs crocheted with yarn hand-cut from fabric salvaged from old clothes and linens. I mosaic frames with tiles I hand-cut from old cups and plates. Every piece is one of a kind and has a story from its former life behind it.
