I make all types of jewelry (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, hairpins) that I hand-carve from coconut shell. This is an art that I started in my home country (Sumatra, Indonesia) and have re-started here in Chicago after moving here 3 1/2 years ago. I bring back the coconut shells from Sumatra because I prefer to work with this type of coconut shell. I carve original, abstract pieces and make everything by hand.
