Copper Dragonfly
Angelique Walker's copper jewelry, bookmarks, and other gifts were inspired by her tree-hugging tendencies. Plants and animals (especially dragonflies) emerged as silhouettes and implied-line drawings cut into sheets of copper, and her fascination with texture put polishing aside to explore different ways to abrate the metal's surface to accomplish both simple and intricate designs.
