Overview

For the public

This year's DIY Trunk Show will be held once again at the Pulaski Park Auditorium (address below), on the border of Wicker Park in Bucktown. The show starts on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 10am and ends at 5pm.

There will be workshops for people who are interested in learning how to make crafts as well as shop. More info to come about these later.

For participants

This year's DIY Trunk Show will be held once again at the Pulaski Park Auditorium (address below), on the border of Wicker Park in Bucktown. Vendors and participants are allowed entry at 9am (please no earlier, or we get charged for the space) to set-up and we advise you to be on time. There will be maps on site for you to orient yourself to your space, and spaces will be numbered, but please know at least which room you're in when you arrive. Maps will be sent out at least a few weeks before the show. Tear down starts at 6pm and vendors should be out by 7pm. We advise you to be prepared, organized and have a general sense of what your table layout will be. Anyone who leaves early without prior notice won't be invited back.

Map

To map the address to the venue, use this link.

The driving directions provided by Yahoo maps aren't very good. Take 90/94 to the Division St. exit. Go west about three-4 blocks and turn right onto Bosworth. Go two blocks to Blackhawk and turn right. The park is 1 1/2 blocks on the right side.

Public transportation

Pulaski Park Auditorium is easily reached via public transport. Visitors and vendors can get to the venue by one of various buses, namely the Ashland, Division and Milwaukee routes. You can also take the Blue Line train to Division and walk north-east two blocks.

To plan a definite route, we recommend using the CTA Trip Planner site.
